Paper, Printing and Finishing

Images are digitally printed onto either premium quality 260g Canon Pearl Photo Paper or Canon 340g Water Resistant Art Canvas using a Canon wide format imagePROGRAF printer. The printer uses 6 colour pigmented inks which, when combined with one of the above media, has excellent stability and which has a manufacturer’s colourfast guarantee of 60+ years (providing that photographs are kept out of direct sunlight and, in the case of Fine Art giclée prints, mounted under glass).

Fine Art giclée prints are then backed and mounted using Crème conservation mount-board, hand titled, signed and cellophane sleeved. Prints can be supplied framed in a medium oak or black wood frame, both of which can be seen here or in any of the Collections. If you would like an alternative profile then just get in touch with me. Please note that, for all framed prints that are being posted, the glass will be replaced with PMMA acrylic. This is a top grade product and  often used instead of glass in a variety of applications such as Art Galleries and Museums as its reflective quality is indistinguishable from that of glass. It is a quality glazing solution which is incredibly durable and will not yellow over time.

Canvas prints are mounted onto a 37mm deep stretcher frame and tensioned. The image is wrapped around the edges of the stretcher frame making a traditional frame unnecessary. All canvas prints are edge sealed, titled and signed on the reverse. Unless specified your chosen image will be printed in the gallery wrap style where the image continues around the edges of the stretcher frame giving it a 3D effect. Any of the panoramic canvases can be supplied as a triptych for those customers who want to bring a real wow factor to a large room. This is where the image is split into three panels which are then hung side by side, with a small gap between each of them, to produce an overall continuous image which looks absolutely stunning. Please contact me for a price if you are interested in this option.
