Sycamore Gap Hadrians Wall

Sadly the The Sycamore Gap tree is no longer with us but it was one of most photographed in the country. It used to stand near Roman Milecastle 39 in a dramatic dip in Hadrian’s Wall in the Northumberland National Park.
