Summer Sailings across Derwentwater

Derwentwater is such a photogenic lake with superb compositions all along both sides of the lake. This image for me typifies Lakeland at its best, the iconic fells of Catbells and Causey Pike, a busy Derwentwater and the clarity of light that perhaps only the lakes and Scotland have to offer.  This location is well worth a visit just to do an early morning sailing around one of the most picturesque lakes in Cumbria.
