Runner up in Keswick Mountain Festival Wainwright Photographic Competition

I was pleased to hear today that my image ‘Its a dogs life above the clouds on Catbells’ has been awarded the runner-up prize in the Keswick Mountain Festival Put Wainwright’s Lake District in the picture!  competition.
The competition was judged by Sir Chris Bonnington and mountain photographer Tony Riley and was to find an image that best represents the popular author’s love of the Lakeland fells. I was thrilled when I got the phone call to say that I had won the prize particularly as this was a nationwide competition for both amateurs and professionals.
You can view the image in the Memories on the Wall Gallery or buy it in either the Canvases or Lakeland Mountains Shop.
Update: After seeing the image on display, the owner of the dog came forward and told me that his name is Skye.
