Work completed on forthcoming book to be published by The Religious Society of Friends
I have finally completed work on the images for a forthcoming book to be published in the autumn by the Religious Society of Friends entitled ‘The Cradle of Quakerism: exploring Quaker roots in North West England’ by Arthur Kincaid.
This involved taking a large number of images at various locations around Lancashire and Cumbria as far afield as Walney Island and Pendle Hill in the 1652 Country linked to George Fox.
It was a real pleasure to visit and discover the various loations some of which I had previously passed on many occasions but hadn’t realised what actually lay there. Everyone was so helpful, particularly at the various Quaker Meeting Houses such as Brigflatts and Yealand.
The whole project was quite fascinating and I can’t wait to see the published book in the autumn.
Hi Martin
Just to let you know that the CD has arrived; excellent, many thanks indeed. I’ve passed it on to our publications department and I’ll keep you informed of progress.
Thank you so much for your time, attention and patience in all this and for the excellence of the work you have produced for us. I am sure that this will be both a useful and a beautiful resource for us in the coming years.
With my best wishes
Alistair Fuller
