I have just returned home after a three week trip to California, USA.

I have just returned home after a three week trip to California, USA. We had a fabulous time and I am now just sorting through my images which I will shortly be uploading to the website. We visited some fantastic places - Yosemite, Death Valley, Joshua Tree NP, Sequoia and Kings Canyon NP and Mono Lake to mention just a few and all in almost 21 days of glorious unbroken sunshine with temperature over 90 degrees. Sometimes we didn’t see a cloud for days at a time which was quite challenging photo-wise. The one day the sun didn’t shine it decided to snow instead when we were high up in Sequoia NP!! The temperature went from a high of 124 degrees F in Death Valley to 30 F in the snow. Guess who was wearing their shorts that day?
I have just sent out the June Newsletter. I apologise for it’s lateness and hope you will understand. I have battled with the lawns and the gardens and now it’s back to business with a vengeance - feeling completely refreshed and ready to go.
