The view of the Cuillin across Loch Scavaig from Elgol is one of the most famous views on the island.
We had arrived on Skye in the early afternoon after a long drive. As the weather forecast was not too good for the next few days, I took advantage of the fine weather, got back in the car and made the short drive over to Elgol.
Even though the cloud was down, the view was still spectacular and there was also some great close-up shots to be had on the rocks and sandstone cliffs by the sea’s edge.
