Pooley Bridge Jetty, Ullswater
December 16th 2007
I love taking sunsets and the opportunity came along to take one at Ullswater. It’s important to try and get a lead in to your images, so I went to Pooley Bridge Jetty on a suitable December evening. As it was winter, the jetty had closed early so I was able to set up my gear without disturbing anyone. I wanted to get the reflection of the sunset across the jetty which was still wet from earlier rain. The effect looks quite good especially the cloud and sky formation which I think makes the shot.
