Catbells & Maiden Moor from Friars Crag
May 20th 2010
I had taken a One-to-One course and we had visited Friars Crag to take some images. As I don’t make any images myself whilst out on a course, I had missed this fabulous light. As soon as I had dropped my course participant off, I rushed back and luckily the light was still just as good.
This is an much seen ‘iconic’ view with Catbells across Derwentwater in the background. But that doesn’t mean that it isn’t still worth taking as the view is fantastic from here.
The climbing of Catbells is the fell walk that everyone does whilst staying in Keswick and you can see people crawling up the ridge like ants on any fine day.
