Butter Bridge, Glen Kinglas, near Cairndow
February 24th 2010
This footbridge was built by soliders in the 18th century as part of the old military road over Kinglas water. It was so named because as the cattle grazed here, the women made butter and cheese. A snow-topped Beinn Ime can be seen in the background.
