I had a spare day between courses and decided to stay up at Keswick.
After an unpromising start to the day, the clouds lifted and I decided to set out for Wasdale. Although the sun didn’t shine, the lighting conditions were great and very dramatic. An ND grad helped to pick out some definition in the sky.
I just love this valley and must admit that it draws me back often to try and capture its sheer grandeur.
