This image was taken on my first outing with my new Canon EOS 5D Mark 2. It’s a fabulous camera and I was not disappointed with the results.
I was up in Keswick taking several photography courses on the bounce with just a day’s break in between which just happened to fall on a day when the weather was perfect. Although I was quite tired, I made the effort to get up early and join the droves of people climbing Helvellyn. My efforts were rewarded with perfect light and a view that stretched so far into the distance it was unbelievable. The only problem was trying to get in a shot where the edge wasn’t covered in people. Sorry if it was you that I cloned off - nothing personal!
