Blencathra ridges from Tewet Tarn

September 20th 2009

Blencathra, commonly known as ‘Saddleback’, must be one of the most popular and easily recognisable fells in the northern part of the lake district. Many ridges run from its summit with Halls Fell Ridge being one of them. Tewet tarn, where I sometimes go on my one to one photography courses is a good vantage point to get great views and reflections of this impressive and popular mountain.
