Skiddaw & Derwentwater from Falcon Crag

I think the view towards Skiddaw over Derwentwater from Falcon Crag is one of the finest views in the North Lakes. The colours of Great Wood below Walla Crag are still autumnal despite the time of year. This view can be had with little effort and I think the snow on the summit of Skiddaw and Lonscale fell just completes the image. Bassenthwaite Lake can also be seen in the distance.
