Blencathra & Lonscale Fell from Walla Crag
March 10th 2009
Whenever I climb Walla Crag I always hope the weather will be kind as you can get superb views over to Blencathra and the Skiddaw range. I managed to tuck myself down amongst some boulders below the summit of Walla Crag, this position gave me a fabulous view over to a snow covered Blencathra with the lichen covered boulders as good foreground interest. There was plenty of heather on the summit which might be good to photograph in august when the heather will be at it’s best.
