Gt. Gable and Kirk Fell from the Corridor Route
February 24th 2009
I took this image on the way to the summit of Scafell. When we set off for the summit low cloud and rain had threatened to spoil the day, however shortly before the top the cloud started to disperse and a fantastic view over to Great Gable had emerged. The corridor route to Scafell is also visible which has become a very popular walk when climbing this popular mountain.
