Looking up Loch Etive towards Glen Coe
January 7th 2009
A narrow road carries a few curious tourists and probably more photographers for 14 beautiful miles down Glen Etive to the Northern tip of Loch Etive. The head of Loch Etive is an atmospheric place where there is an old jetty and boathouse near the outflow of the River Etive. This makes a great foreground for a shot up the glen towards Glen Coe
Last time I came here, the weather was dreadful but today it couldn’t be different. The light was stunning, there was very little wind and the place was truly magical.
