River Lochy from Inverlochy Castle

January 8th 2009

I love taking panoramas and this one was no exception. The image was taken very early in the morning from a bridge over the River Lochy close to the ruins of the Old Inverlochy Castle. The low mist gave a perfect backdrop for the trees which were laiden with early morning frost. I took the image with the intention to crop and create a panorama in photoshop. The internet really does not do justice to this picture which looks quite spectacular when printed in a large panoramic format.
