Buachaille Etive Mor & the River Coupall Falls
January 8th 2009
Buachaile Etive Mor is one mountain that everyone has to photograph. You just have to hope that on the day you are there the weather is kind to you. I was lucky when I arrived in Glencoe with a ‘kind’ cloud directly behind the summit. The shot was quite challenging as the river that I wanted to capture for foreground interest was nearly in total darkness. I also wanted to get that popular ‘milky’ look to the water, so a tripod and a longer than normal exposure were required. I’m really happy with the shot with all elements coming together.
