Early morning frost in Glen Lonan

January 6th 2009

I had read somewhere that if your in the general area of Loch Awe then a drive through Glen Lonan was a must. The scenery was quite beautiful with rivers and forests taking centre stage. This shot stood out when the sun had just risen above the skyline. It lit up the trees by the side of the forest and the heavy frost was sparkling on the ground and fence leading to the forest. It was bitterly cold and I hope I’ve captured that ‘clean and crisp’ feeling you get on these cold winter mornings.
