Buachaille Etive Mor and the frozen River Coupall

I was so lucky to get the conditions you see on this photograph whilst taking a break in the Highlands of Scotland. The river Coupall was just thawing leaving gaps between the frost and ice whilst Buachaille Etive Mor stood like a guardian over Glencoe. This shot was taken on the river bank below the bridge but care had to be taken on the slippy boulders whilst carrying tripod, camera, ruck sack, pack lunch and ‘cuddly’ toy .. !!
