This image is of Blackrock Cottage in Glencoe - The Glen of Weeping. It’s on a small single track road that ends at the Glencoe Ski Center and is one of the most photographed cottages in Scotland.
The image is special to me because this was my first view of the Buachaille Etive Mor which you can see in the background, a mountain which I have long wanted to photograph after I saw an image of it taken by Joe Cornish.
I was not disappointed. The view from the cottage and the Buachaille Etive Mor itself were superb especially the tiny wisp of a cloud near the sumit.

Canon EOS 5D, Canon 24-105 IS USM L series lens, FL 24.0mm 1/80 @ f5.6 ISO 160 with 0.3 Lee ND grad
