The Quiraing

The Quiraing is a spectacular landslip on the eastern face of Meall na Suiramach, the northernmost summit of the Trotternish Ridge on the Isle of Skye. We traveled up from Portree, taking the single track road from Brogaig up to the pass. There is a footpath from the parking area which leads to the Quiraing. The view is probably one of the most stunning that I have ever seen and is truly breathtaking. Added to this, the sun kept going behind the clouds making the scene ever more dramatic.
