For those of you who have not made a previous purchase from my website, visited one of my exhibitions or been to a gallery that sells my work, the details below will give you more information about the products available.
I treat the subject of landscape photography and the presentation of my work as both an art and a craft. The finished article is something in which I take great pride. If you get even a small percentage of the pleasure from my work that went in to creating it then it will have been a success.
Paper, Printing and Finishing
Images are digitally printed onto either premium quality 260g Canon Pearl Photo Paper or Canon 340g Water Resistant Art Canvas using a Canon wide format imagePROGRAF printer. The printer uses 6 colour pigmented inks which, when combined with one of the above media, has excellent stability and which has a manufacturer’s colourfast guarantee of 60+ years (providing that photographs are kept out of direct sunlight and, in the case of Fine Art giclée prints, mounted under glass).
Fine Art giclée prints are then backed and mounted using Crème conservation mount-board, hand titled, signed and cellophane sleeved. Prints can be supplied framed in a medium oak frame which can be seen in any of the Collections. If you would like an alternative profile then just get in touch with me.
Canvas prints are mounted onto a 37mm deep stretcher frame and tensioned. The image is wrapped around the edges of the stretcher frame making a traditional frame unnecessary. Unless specified your chosen image will be printed in the gallery wrap style where the image continues around the edges of the stretcher frame giving it a 3D effect. The surface of the canvas is then sealed for extra protection giving it an extended life of up to 200 years. All canvas prints are titled and signed on the reverse of the stretcher frame.
Any of the panoramic canvases can be supplied as a triptych for those customers who want to bring a real wow factor to a large room. This is where the image is split into three panels which are then hung side by side, with a small gap between each of them, to produce an overall continuous image which looks absolutely stunning. Please contact me for a price if you are interested in this option.
