I was fortunate to go out with Martin on a day when the light was as near perfect as it can get. At my request, we concentrated on the Buttermere valley as this is a favourite place of mine. Martin’s extensive knowledge of the area meant that he was able to find some great locations that even I had not visited.
I consider myself to be quite a proficient photographer and was looking for tuition that would take my photography to the next level with a view to starting up a small business of my own. My expectations were more than met. Martin’s helpful advice and the new techniques that he taught me have allowed me to continue to develop my own style and decide the direction in which my photography should go. His friendly and straight-forward manner were a million miles from what I have previously experienced on group courses and the one to one tuition allowed Martin to concentrate on only the topics that interested me personally.
I had a great day out and came home with some great images that will take pride of place on my new website once I get around to building it. I’m now just having trouble persuading my wife that I’ve actually taken some of them!!
